Registration is open!

Join us for our five-year anniversary

Our Annual Women Build Fundraiser is May 1st & 2nd, 2026

Next May marks an exciting milestone for Habitat for Humanity of Butte County—our 5th Annual Women Build Fundraiser! For five incredible years, women from across our community have come together with hammers, heart, and unstoppable determination to help other women build strength, stability, and a safe place to call home. What began as a single day of service has grown into a powerful movement—one that celebrates the skills, leadership, and generosity of women, and men, who roll up their sleeves to make a tangible difference.

As we enter our fifth year, we’re honoring not just the homes built, but the friendships formed, the confidence gained, and the lives changed along the way. Women Build is more than a fundraiser—it’s a celebration of what happens when women uplift one another and help families take the next step toward a brighter future. We can’t wait to build, cheer, learn, and celebrate with you as we make this milestone year our strongest one yet.

Women build sponsorships

Exciting news! Habitat for Humanity of Butte County’s 2026 Women Build Fundraiser is scheduled for May 1–2, and we’re inviting local businesses to partner with us as event sponsors. Women Build brings together women, men, civic groups, and local companies for two energizing days of hands-on building and fundraising—directly supporting safe, affordable homeownership with people in our community.

Last year, more than 60 participants and 25 businesses joined us in our successful 4th year of this project. We are now planning for year 5 as we expand our construction work across Butte County. Since the Camp Fire, Habitat has built 28 homes (22 in Paradise), and 20 of these families are single moms or single dads. Sponsorships make this progress possible by helping us build each home at a no profit rate with affordable mortgage terms—opening doors for families who otherwise could not afford a place to call home.

As we invite you to this project, we want to note the upcoming 2026 corporate tax law changes that may affect charitable deductions. For many businesses, giving before the end of the 2025 tax year may provide greater tax advantages than waiting until 2026. We encourage you to speak with your tax advisor soon to determine the most beneficial timing for your philanthropic contributions.

A Women Build sponsorship is both impactful and mutually beneficial:
• Your investment directly supports home construction.
• Your business receives year-long marketing and recognition opportunities (see enclosed flyer).
• Sponsors are invited to our annual Thanks for Giving appreciation event in November.

Our goal is to build 6–10 homes per year and sustain this momentum for the next decade. With your partnership, we can continue addressing the local housing shortage and strengthening the communities where your employees and customers live.

Thank you for considering a Women Build sponsorship. If you have any questions or would like to reserve your sponsorship level, I would be happy to help. We look forward to partnering with you to build homes, communities, and hope.

Women Build Fundraiser 2025 Update

We’re excited to share an incredible update from our recent Women Build Fundraiser! Our participants showed up ready to work, full of energy and enthusiasm, and their impact was amazing.

Over the course of just two days, they framed both the interior and exterior walls of two homes and installed more than 200 feet of fencing—a huge step forward in creating safe, affordable housing for local families.

Thanks to the dedication of 54 amazing women and a phenomenal team of leaders who provided guidance and hands-on training, this year’s event was our most successful yet. We raised a total of $52,726.95—more than any previous year! We are so grateful to all of our sponsors (listed below), donors, participants,  and our supportive community, who made this achievement possible.

We look forward to seeing you next year!

“As a single parent in low-income housing, this opportunity provides the stability my family desperately needs. Building our home with sweat equity allows us to contribute to the community and learn valuable skills. The excitement of owning a home includes my son having his own room and creating a garden for my daughter. This affordable home will transform our lives, offering stability and opportunities I never thought possible.” -Brandy
