“After learning about Habitat for Humanity from our aunt, who had secured a home through the program, my family and I decided to apply due to our escalating rental costs and the desire for a stable, affordable home.

Participating in the construction process allowed us to contribute sweat equity, learn new skills, and take pride in our efforts. The supportive volunteers made the experience enriching, and as we anticipate the completion of our Habitat home, we dream of personalizing our spaces and enjoying a secure, affordable future.

“I first learned about Habitat for Humanity during my teenage years, inspired by my mom’s friend’s involvement. Witnessing its positive impact on our community fueled my desire to achieve homeownership through the program.
